What do you need to take part?

Not much more than yourself and, if you like, a mat. We have sanitised mats at the studio that you can borrow if you haven't got your own to start with. How does it work?

The next 6-week course takes place at Unwind Yoga Studio in the Station Parade in Cookham. There is free parking in front of the studio.


Cost for the whole 6-week course is £90.


It can be scary to try something you have never tried before.

I understand! I started yoga in my late 30s and the very first class I took was entirely wrong for me: it was a lunchtime Power yoga class, which left me so exhausted, I fell asleep under my desk for the rest of the afternoon. I did not take another yoga class for several years, and then started again with a more appropriate yoga class. There were no "Yoga for Beginners" courses in this area back then, but I wish that's how I could have started, and this is why I have created this course.
