This engaging and empowering workshop is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the art of handstands in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you're a complete novice or have dabbled in handstands before, our expert teacher will guide you through a structured and progressive program that will build your strength, balance, and confidence step by step.

  2. Building Strength: Learn exercises and techniques to build the essential upper body and core strength required for maintaining a stable handstand position. Great shoulder opening, too!

  4. Safety First: Understand how to safely enter and exit a handstand, practicing against a wall and with a spotter for added security.

  • Requirements: No prior handstand experience necessary. Comfortable workout attire recommended. Bring a water bottle and a positive attitude!

Hanna's Bio: 

Hanna Schmitt discovered the fascinating world of yoga in 2011 while looking for methods to improve flexibility and strength as part of her triathlon training regimen. This newfound love for yoga finally led to a professional move, and she quit her corporate position in the spring of 2016. Subsequently, Hanna has completed over 800 hours of yoga teacher training around the world.


Over the last 6 years, Hanna fell in love with handstands and trained and practised with some world-renowned handstand teachers, such as Sainaa, London School of HandBalance; Yuval Ayalon and Miguel Sant'ana. 

 

Hanna, why handstands??: "For me, it’s all about movement and how it makes me feel alive. It gives me a feeling of freedom, strength, and empowerment. It’s not only fun; it’s my kind of meditation. Being in a handstand demands so much concentration and focus that it’s the only thing where I can’t think about anything else. It creates inner peace within myself. Handstanding helped me to overcome fears and taught me to trust in myself better, especially by becoming more patient! The feeling is incredible, beyond words, just indescribable."
